First Prototype

Goals
- Control Raspberry pi remotely to move car
- Commands for reverse, left, right and forward
- Integrate camera for obstacle course
- Go up a wooden inclined platform
Main issues
- Large wheels and motors cracked thin motor carrier platform
- Low traction on dusty wooden incline

Final Prototype

- Redesign with 3D printed sheel
- Integrated car roof rack to hold components
- Camera clipped on roof
- 2 Batteries one providing power to the 12V DC motors internally and an external power pack for the other components
One of the main challenges was weight distribution with so much components at the rear and heavy motors
This meant that car was very prone to do wheelies if we accelerated at full speed.
